On September 19, the Senate Finance Committee held a hearing, "Aging in Place: The Vital Role of Home Health in Access to Care." Verbal testimony was given by Carrie Edwards, RN, Judith Stein, JD, Tracy Mroz, PhD, William Dombi, JD, and David Grabowski. NAELA submitted written testimony thanking the committee for discussing this important issue. We offered input on Congressional action that can and should be taken on Medicaid HCBS, Medicare, telehealth, caregiver support, Older Americans Act and Adult Protective Services.
