Professional Biography
Jennifer J. Hawkins concentrates her practice on long-term care Medicaid planning and applications for Medicaid benefits, estate and trust administration, guardianships, and estate planning. The Trust & Estate Specialty Board certified her as a Board Certified Indiana Trust & Estate Lawyer in 2010. Jennifer received a BME in 1988 from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana, and a JD in 1992 from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, in Louisville Kentucky. She was admitted to the Indiana State Bar and the Northern and Southern Indiana Districts of the United States District Court in 1992. Jennifer is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, including membership in the ISBA’s Elder Law and Probate, Trust & Real Property Sections. Jennifer is also a member of the Indiana Code Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Sullivan County and the Terre Haute Bar Associations.
