Biography
Elisa received her B.B.A. from Baylor University in 1992 with high honors and earned her J.D. from Baylor School of Law in 1994. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is a Certified Elder Law Attorney, certified by the National Elder Law Foundation, as recognized by the State Bar of Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Elisa is in private practice with her husband, James Rainey, and is an adjunct professor at Baylor School of Law, teaching elder law. She serves on the board of the Texas Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a member of the Special Needs Alliance. She practices in the areas of estate planning, guardianship, probate and elder law, including public benefits planning. She is a frequent speaker to professional and lay groups on topics of elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning.
