Professional Biography
Jeff R Hawkins received a BS from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana, and a JD from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, in Louisville Kentucky in 1992. He was admitted to the Indiana State Bar and the United States District Court Northern and Southern Indiana Districts in 1992, and to the Illinois State Bar in 2012. Jeff was the 2014-15 Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) President, and is a member of the Probate, Trust & Real Property; Elder Law; Agricultural Law; and Business Law Sections. The ISBA’s Trust & Estate Specialty Board certified him as a Board Certified Indiana Trust & Estate Lawyer in 2007. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and its Elder Law, Trusts & Estates, and Business Advice & Financial Planning Sections; and the Indiana and Illinois Chapters of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and he is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
