Mary Alice Jackson is an Elder Law and Special Needs Trust attorney whose clients include individuals with disabilities and chronically ill elders who are planning for uncertain futures.
Mary Alice is the sole shareholder in the firm of Mary Alice Jackson, P.C. in Austin, Texas. She is licensed in both Texas and Florida and has been board certified in Elder Law in Florida since 1999. She has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been named a Super Lawyer in both Texas and Florida.
Mary Alice is a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a recipient of the NAELA Powley Award for Public Service.
She is also a member of the Special Needs Alliance, a national organization of SNT lawyers, and serves on its Board of Directors.
Mary Alice co-authored the initial editions of Planning for the Elderly in Florida. She is an adjunct professor at Stetson University.
