Scholarships
The NAELA Foundation has established two scholarship programs to expand and diversify the pipeline of highly qualified attorneys in elder and special needs law. With a nationwide shortage of professionals to meet a looming crisis of capacity, these initiatives invest in the next generation of advocates who will safeguard the rights and well-being of vulnerable populations.
Future Advocates Law School Scholarship Program
- This program supports law students by financially assisting enrollment in qualifying elder and special needs law courses. By reducing barriers to entry, the Foundation fosters early interest in this vital practice area and builds a more diverse, inclusive pool of future attorneys.
NAELA Annual Conference Scholarship Program
- Designed for emerging professionals, this program provides access to the NAELA Annual Conference, advancing professional development, inclusion, and engagement within the NAELA community while cultivating future leaders in the field.
Together, these scholarships strengthen the profession and ensure a sustainable pipeline of advocates committed to serving older Americans and individuals with disabilities.
