This webinar will provide an advocacy '101' session for any NAELA member wanting to learn how to get involved in advocacy at the state level. The webinar will address ways to frame legislative issues to appeal to state legislators currently in office, how to connect with legislators and arrange meetings with legislators/staffers, and how to maintain positive relationship with legislators as different advocacy/legislative issues arise. The webinar will also discuss ways in which to use social media to promote legislative issues/advocacy work and connect with legislators through various media platforms.
