Guidelines for Article Submission

Have an article you'd like to submit to NAELA News or NAELA Journal? 

NAELA News

NAELA News welcomes for review short (750-1,500 words), substantive articles on elder law and special needs planning topics, or news about NAELA. Articles should deal with timely issues in elder law and special needs planning topics, provide how-to information, or be about a recent event of interest to theelder law and special needs planning topics  community. Articles may be based on the personal experience of the author or may involve research into a topic.

NAELA Journal

NAELA Journal publishes substantive articles that discuss significant elder law and special needs planning topics. NAELA Journal also publishes case notes and book reviews.

Most articles are between 4,000 and 10,000 words, including citations.

Case notes are generally 4,000 words or less, including citations. And book reviews generally run not less than 1,000 words and not longer than 5,000 words.
