About Practice
Jill Sauber is Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). She is licensed in Minneapolis, MN. She practices in the areas of elder law with emphasis on long-term care planning, asset protection, and government benefits (Medical Assistance, Veterans Benefits, Social Security); estate planning; estate administration (probate); trusts; litigation; and mortuary law.Jill has a law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Minnesota in Biology, Physiology, and Mortuary Science. Her work as a licensed mortician laid the foundation for her interest in elder law and litigation.
Biography
Jill Sauber is a volunteer for the MSBA Wills for Heroes Program, participant in the Minnesota Elder Justice Center (formerly the Vulnerable Adult Justice Project), volunteer with Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MAC-V), Dementia Champion through the ACT on Alzheimer’s Initiative, and is an active member of the Elder Law Governing Council of the Elder Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association.

She appreciates connecting with clients from all walks of life. A quote that describes her approach to life is: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” When not at work, Jill can be found hiking, practicing yoga, silversmithing, at the dog park with her dog Zoey, or spending time with her husband Jamie at his brewpub.
