Protecting Blended Families with Proper Document Drafting (ANNUAL 2016)
Product Details:
Today's "traditional" family looks much different than those of prior times. Each family takes a step in every direction, a step-child that is, plus often a spouse of every child and step-child. It's complicated, including the work of the planning lawyer(s). ÊThis session examines estate planning needs of blended families and assists the practitioner in examining and planning for the conflicts between older, less needy, but more "entitled" linear children v. younger, more needy step-children. ÊWe will also review ideas for resolution of issues between present and future beneficiaries sharing the same trust corpus. Consider "a little chaos" as a part of your daily practice. After attending this session, you will be able to better identify, discuss, and draft for the new world of the "modern family."Ê Presented by Michael Graham, Senior Attorney, Graham Law Group, Interactive Group CEO
