NAELA Aspirational Standards
The second edition of the NAELA Aspirational Standards was unanimously approved by the NAELA Board of Directors on April 26, 2017. This edition is the result of three years of dedicated work by the Professionalism & Ethics Committee, led by Gregory French, CELA, CAP, Fellow, and Professor Roberta Flowers. The main focus of the revision was to incorporate special needs planning and law into the standards, comments and examples, as well as conduct a full review and update of the Standards, which were first produced a decade ago. It is the committee’s hope that these Standards and commentary will provide practical guidance to all NAELA members in their areas of practice. The revised standards are now available on the NAELA website.
