NAELA Celebrates Residents’ Rights Month in October

Washington, DC — The National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care designated October as Residents’ Rights Month to honor residents living in all long-term care facilities. The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) supports Consumer Voice by acknowledging this annual celebration and opportunity to raise awareness and advocate for the needs of people living in long-term care facilities.

In addition to discussing options and plans for financing long-term care, NAELA member attorneys also assist the elderly, people with special needs, and their families by providing guidance on estate planning, special needs trusts, public benefits such as Medicare and Medicaid, and other important issues.
