Professional Biography
Lisa Anderson-Shaw is the Director of the Clinical Ethics Consult Service at the University of Illinois Medical Center (UIMC) in Chicago, where she helped to design and implement the current hospital-based consult service. Dr. Anderson-Shaw conducts most of the Clinical Ethics Consult Service’s case consultations, and helped develop the consult service’s secured web-board for case consultation review by her peers. She has been a member of the UIMC Ethics Committee since 1989 and currently serves as the committee co-chair.
