Professional Biography
Brad has been a member of NAELA since 1999. After receiving his Juris Doctor degree from Washburn University in his home state of Kansas, Brad continued his education at the University of Denver earning his Master of Laws degree in Taxation. Practicing law for over 35 years, Brad has extensive experience in estate planning, Elder Law, special needs planning, probate ,tax matters and long term care planning .Brad is a Past President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, past board member of the Special Needs Alliance, he is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA), a member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners (CAP), the Colorado Bar Association, the Wyoming bar association ,a Fellow in the Kansas Bar Association, and a past board member but current special counsel of the Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
