Join fellow Elder and Special Needs Law professionals in a program that’s focused on engaging and connecting with your peers.

Make plans to attend the 2014 NAELA Annual Conference in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 15-17, 2014, at the beautiful JW Marriott Camelback Inn and Resort.

While 2013 celebrated NAELA’s 25th Anniversary, the 2014 Annual Conference is a program devoted to the future of Elder and Special Needs Law. Here’s what you can expect inside and outside of the classroom in Scottsdale:

Educational tracks highlighting three significant practice areas:
  • The latest in Elder Law including middle-class estate planning, fiduciary litigation, and administrative appeals litigation. This track will approach these practice areas with the perspective of what is new and different now that fewer individuals have potentially taxable estates, fiduciary litigation is on the rise, and, with tightening budgets, individuals will need to fight administratively to initially qualify for public benefits and to keep what they’ve got!
  • The Future of Elder Law: A Practical Perspective. This track includes five vigorous and comprehensive breakout sessions to provide the tools to supplement your Elder and Special Needs Law practice with additional services. These sessions are not only the “what is it” but the “how to do it.”
  • Preparing for the Future Needs of People with Disabilities: What Challenges will Arise?
And More:
The always-popular NAELA Past Presidents’ Case Law Update

Learn about the innovative research conducted by the nationally and internationally recognized Banner Alzheimer’s Institute (BAI). Dr. Eric Reiman, Executive Director of Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, will discuss the international Alzheimer’s Prevention Initiative being spearheaded by researchers at BAI.

Continue your “on-site” learning Saturday morning as you become skilled at “Planning for Persons with MS” or take advantage of “off-site” learning opportunities with a desert mountain jeep tour or playing golf at the resort with your NAELA colleagues.
