Guidelines for Article Submission

Have an article you'd like to submit to NAELA News or NAELA Journal? We encourage you to share your expertise.

NAELA News

NAELA News welcomes short (750-1,500 words) substantive articles on elder or special needs law topics.

Articles should deal with timely issues, provide how-to information, or address recent events of interest to the elder and special needs law community.

Articles may be based on the personal experience of the author or may involve research into a topic.

NAELA Journal

NAELA Journal publishes substantive articles on topics of interest in elder and special needs law. NAELA Journal also publishes case notes of significant state or federal cases, as well as book reviews.

Most articles are between 4,000 and 10,000 words, including citations.

Case notes are generally 4,000 words or less, including citations. Book reviews are generally not less than 1,000 words and not longer than 5,000 words.
