Professional Biography
Jim Mertz has been active in serving seniors for the past 40 years. He has a MS degree in Studies of Aging. He has been a licensed nursing home administrator; worked in the corporate office of the nation’s largest non-profit provider of senior services, and since 2002 has served as CEO/President of various continuing care retirement communities from the east coast to the west coast. He has served on national committees for both American Health Care Association and LeadingAge. He has been a Board Member of LeadingAge Oregon and LeadingAge California.
