What do you do at AC?

As an Advocacy Center of Louisiana attorney, my work is as exciting as it is varied. About 3/4's of my work involves advising nursing home residents of their rights and working to improve conditions in long-term care facilities. The other quarter runs the gamut -- everything from representing clients in Medicaid termination hearings, to defending interdictions, and to advocating for people with disabilities to live in the most integrated settings. I love the diversity in AC's cases -- it keeps me on my toes and ensures that I'm always learning.
