How do I locate a NAELA member attorney in my neighborhood/city?

1. Click on www.naela.org/findlawyer

2. Enter in your City and State or your Zip code. And Click “Search.” If no results are returned, enter in a distance radius in the “Within distance of Zip or City/State” and click “Search” again.

3. From the list, click on the attorneys name to pull up their full contact information.

How do I log on to the NAELA website?

1. The member log on can be found on the NAELA homepage along the right hand side of the screen

2. Enter your logon information – this field is not case sensitive. Sometimes members select their email address as their logon

3. Enter your password – this field is case sensitive.

How do I change my email address online?

1. After you have logged on to the NAELA website, move your cursor over “Membership” from the titles across the top of the web site and the drop down menu will appear.

2. From the membership drop down menu select “My Account” and scroll to “Personal”

3. Enter the new information you would like to update, confirm the email address and click “Save.”

How do I change my logon id or password?

1. After you have logged onto the NAELA website, move your cursor over “Membership” from the titles across the top of the website and the drop down menu will appear

2. From the membership menu, select “My Account” and then “ID & Password”

3. Enter the information you wish to change – either your logon or password and click “Save”. It is important to note to change one at the exact same time – either your logon or password – but not both. After clicking “Save”, you can then change the other if you wish.

How do I check my account status?

1. After you have logged onto the NAELA website, move your cursor over “Membership” from the titles across the top of the website and the drop down menu will appear

2. From the membership menu, select “My Account” and then “Billing”

3. If your membership is renewed for the year, you will receive a message “You do not owe anything currently.” If you have not renewed for the year, your current renewal will auto populate the fields. If wish to add or remove any membership items and click through the screens to complete your renewal.

How do I print a receipt?

1. After you have logged onto the NAELA website, move your cursor over “Membership” from the titles across the top of the website and the drop down menu will appear

2. From the membership menu, select “My Account” and then “Order History”

3. The screen will refresh with a menu and your most recent orders will appear. Select “View Details” to see the specifics of amount paid, date payment was made and membership paid through date. You can elect to have payment confirmation summary sent to your email. If the order you are looking for is not a “Recent Order” click the drop down menu and expand the range of order dates.

How do I add an email address to link with a NAELA listserv?

1. After logging on to the NAELA website the “Communities” tab along the top of the menu bar will appear. This will NOT be visible unless you log in and are a current NAELA member. Click “Communities”

2. From the NAELA Community home page, look for the bars running across the top of the screen and move your cursor over “My Page” and scroll to “Edit Profile”.

3. Scroll down through the profile information to the very last one “My Email Addresses” and click “Add/Change Email Address.” Enter the information and click “Add”

How do I change an email address linked with a NAELA listserv?

1. After logging on to the NAELA website the “Communities” tab along the top of the menu bar will appear. This will NOT be visible unless you log in and are a current NAELA member. Click “Communities”

2. From the NAELA Community home page, look for the bars running across the top of the screen and move your cursor over “My Page” and scroll to “My Groups”.

3. From the summary of groups you belong to, select the group you would like to change the setting for. Click on the "membership & settings" link and you’ll go to your "Group Membership Settings" for this Group.

How do I register for a meeting?

1. Log on to the NAELA website from the homepage.  

2. Go to Meetings and Events and navigate to the meeting that you would like to register for.

3. Click the red “Register Now” button. NOTE: If the “Register” button is grayed out as shown below, you are not logged in, go back to step 1.
