Defense of Marriage Act Materials from NAELA Webinar (November 2013)

  • On November 6, 2013, NAELA President-Elect Bradley Frigon met with members of the Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee (DSOC) and national aging organization leaders to discuss the importance of protecting critical programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, especially during current budget negotiations. NAELA provided information to the senators on its priority legislative goals. Members of the DSOC vowed to protect the millions of Americans who depend on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid throughout the ongoing budget negotiations.
