Aging Network Professionals

Elder law attorneys are holistic lawyers, dealing with the legal and non-legal problems of their clients by using a multi-disciplinary approach. Geriatric care managers, guardians, social workers and other aging network professionals play an important role in this approach. Our goal: that the broad range of needs are addressed in a holistic fashion so that the social, psychological, medical and financial needs are met, not just the legal needs.

Wingspan - The Second National Guardianship Conference

Wingspan was hosted by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Stetson College of Law and the Borchard Foundation Center on Law and Aging November 30 - December 2, 2001. The invitation-only conference revisited the subject of guardianship, examining the recommendations established by the WINGSPREAD conference, assessing the effect of those recommendations, and making recommendations for reform of guardianship nationwide. The recommendations of the conference are published in the Stetson Law Review and are available in PDF format on this site. To review the conference recommendations please click here — 193KB.
