Join NAELA

Membership in NAELA is a great opportunity to keep updated on the latest developments happening in the state and take part in chapter specific educational events and listserv.

When asked, Why NAELA? Here’s what NAELA members had to say:
“As an attorney new to the practice of elder law, I am grateful to NAELA for providing me access to other practitioners with whom to confer via CLE/networking events, listservs, and what seems like an endless supply of online resources and webinars that range from the basics to the more complex topics.”
“NAELA gives me the opportunity to raise my voice to advocate on the state level on behalf of my clients.”

“I belong to NAELA because it allows me to connect with and learn from other highly respected and knowledgeable attorneys who are dedicated to elder law issues."

NAELA leads in inspiring and empowering attorneys to enhance the quality of life for the older adults and those with special needs. Member attorneys receive a wealth of benefits and support:
Continuing Legal Education

As a leading provider of continuing legal education seminars on Elder Law and Special Needs Planning, NAELA sponsors an annual symposium and an advanced institute. Both programs offer practitioners the latest information on topics including tax issues, estate planning, Medicaid and Medicare and practice management. In addition, the NJ NAELA Un-Program provides members the opportunity to brainstorm about state issues affecting their practices in informal small group discussions.

ListServs

Both the national member and chapter listserv is a valuable service that allows members to participate in discussions on substantive issues as well as practice management and development issues, and receive immediate feedback from hundreds of members throughout the state or country.
